What happened to the imagination and the originality of the moviemakers in Hollywood? It feels like these days all we ever seem to get are movies that are being regurgitated, with the amount of sequels, prequels, reboot, and remakes being released every year. In all fairness, some of these projects do seem to actually work well but, more often than not, we are just left disappointed and frustrated with the nonsense we end up with.
Anyway, one of the latest movies franchises to get yet another instalment, is the Predator franchise, which has gone from being a classic Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, to getting so many new and ridiculous versions, with the franchise ever crossing over with the Alien franchise, although it actually seems that some people do actually like those movies. Crazy right?
The latest movie is simply being titled The Predator and has director Shane Black on board to write and direct the project, while we are also getting a rather interesting and exciting cast put together. With shooting expected to begin in the very near future, the likes of Olivia Munn and Boyd Holbrook will be getting very excited about getting to be a part of The Predator, even if the fans are not.
As well as starring Boyd Holbrook and Olivia Munn, the rest of the cast of The Predator will include the likes of Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Thomas Jane, Sterling K. Brown, and 50 Cent. The Predator is aiming for a release date set for February 9, 2018 in the US and March 2, 2018 in the UK.
