Most of you will recognise Israeli actress Gal Gadot from her appearances in the Fast and Furious franchise and the star is doing her bit to help her homeland. With the fashion industry in Israel struggling to compete with the online industry and foreign fashion chains, Gal Gadot has decided to do her bit for Israel fashion chain Castro.

Gal Gadot has modelled for Castro on a few occasions for some of their ad campaigns and has been seen promoting their underwear range, strolling along a Tel Aviv boulevard with other male and female models in their underwear.
Adi Daichovsky, the marketing director of the Israel fashion chain Castro, explained, "Up until about a year ago, we sold only underpants, but until you start selling bras, you're not really part of the underwear playing field. A year ago we started selling bras too. The fashion market is very competitive, and today underwear is much more fashionable."
Bar Refaeli is a top Israeli model
One such online brand that Castro faces competition from, is under.me, which is the underwear brand from Israeli model Bar Refaeli and caters mainly to the foreign markets. The brand was started by David Balsar, who was previously a successful underwear model in Israel.
