As Warner Bros. and DC seriously begin to get their act together and make a big push with their comic book movie projects, we are beginning to hear more and more rumours about the DC Extended Universe every day. One of the DC and Warner Bros. projects that is getting a lot of attention at the moment, is the Wonder Woman movie, which has a lot of fans excited.
We already know that Fast and Furious actress Gal Gadot will play the role of Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman in the new movie, while Star Trek actor Chris Pine will play the role of Steve Trevor. Well now, it looks like another big name Hollywood stars is set to join the cast of Wonder Woman, as it has been reported that Australian actress Nicole Kidman is in talks for a role in the project.
There has been no official word yet, as to which character Nicole Kidman will be playing in the Wonder Woman film, although there have been plenty of rumours already circulating. It is claimed that Nicole will play a high ranking Amazonian warrior, with many suggesting that she will take on the role of Queen Hippolyta, who is the biological mother of Diana Prince. We guess we will just have to wait and see.
We will first get to see Gal Gadot as Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman in the upcoming movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which will open on March 25, 2016 in both the US and the UK. Meanwhile, we will then see the Wonder Woman solo movie hit the big screen in July 23, 2017. We cannot wait!
