Keira Knightley and James Righton were married in an intimate, low-key ceremony in a town hall in France today, several months after getting engaged. Reports have come out about the details of the couple's wedding, and from all accounts, it seemed like it was a very small affair with close family and friends present.
According to the Daily Mail, Keira wore a 'short, corset ballet dress' with a pair of 'flat shoes' and a Chanel jacket. It was rumored that she would be wearing Chanel due to her close friendship with Karl Lagerfeld, and it seems her clothes were all of Chanel's designs. The wedding after-party guest list consists of not more than 50 of the couple's closest family and friends, who will all be staying to help the couple celebrate over the weekend.
The ceremony itself was said to have 'not more than 11 people' and Keira was reported to be 'skipping for joy' after she exchanged vows with Righton. The couple tied the knot and exchanged vows in the town hall in Mazan, a small town about 12 miles from Marseilles. A witness who was present said, "It was a very moving ceremony. Keira looked extremely moved by the whole thing - there were certainly tears of happiness."
The couple will be celebrating their after-party tonight, where Righton's band The Klaxons will be playing. The guest list is said to include Sienna Miller, Carey Mulligan, and Karl Lagerfeld.
