The DC Extended Universe might not be impressing how many fans would like, but there are still a number of upcoming movie projects that we are very excited about seeing, including the eagerly anticipated Shazam! movie. Actor Zachary Levi will play the lead role in the Shazam! film and he has admitted that he would love to see Gal Gadot making a cameo appearance as Wonder Woman in the movie.
Levi was asked which superhero he would like to see appearing in the Shazam! movie, whe he replied, "Wonder Woman, because she’s awesome. I think getting a cameo from anybody would be super cool, but I just think Gal Gadot is so effervescent. She has such a charm. And she seems like a really cool broad. Like, she was in the Israeli army. She’s a mom."
He added, "And I’m like, ‘You seem like you’re grounded and cool, and you’re Wonder Woman, and you rock.’ And I think it would be really funny to have the 14-year-old Billy Batson inside of Shazam that’s really awkward around this beautiful Amazonian. I just think that would be really awesome."
We are not entirely sure how the Shazam! movie is going to fit into the DC Extended Universe and, with Dwayne Johnson set to star in a Black Adam film, it will be interesting to see if he makes a cameo appearance in Shazam!. David F. Sandberg is on directing duties for the Shazam! movie, which is aiming to hit the big screen on April 5, 2019 in both the US and the UK.
